MONOLITH / CHROMATIC FIELD

MONOLITH / CHROMATIC FIELD is a wall installation composed of seven Canadian maple skateboard decks.

The piece expands the Acidology universe into a rarer, wider and more immersive format. At the centre, a dense black mineral form rises like a monolith. Around it, white branching structures, acid pigments and graphic fragments spread across the seven decks.

Each deck keeps its physical character: visible wood grain, concave shape, rounded edges, visible truck holes, high-definition print and satin finish. The whole piece is designed as a collector wall artwork, between contemporary art, skate culture and interior design.

Quality and materials

Each installation is produced on seven Canadian maple skateboard decks, selected for their stability, clear grain and print quality. The natural wood remains visible to keep the contrast between raw support, organic structure and graphic mutation.

The high-definition print preserves the depth of the blacks, the finesse of the branching details, the pigment textures and the digital fragmentation. The satin finish protects the surface while keeping a matte look, closer to an artwork than to a standard decorative object.
